This is actually an impale longbow. Slow/25 is what the impale longbow is. The fail is on the model

I still get the xim look on some bows (the icon at least)
and in some cases a totally different bow style (I once gave Valorius i believe an execution sb that had the elven bow look, but exe stats)

i dont know why it happens, and only with archer class (at least ive only seen it happen to archers, heck id love a hammer with the look of a rapier
