Tacking a forced breack

Hello everybody,

I just wanted to anounce my friends and my clan that i will take a forced breack from regnum for a while cos the guys from the university blocked my port for the game. I was excited that tomorow ill go home and be able to play regnum but last night my laptop's screen went black and wont turn on so i have to get it fixed and i wont be able to play while i will be home :'(
I want to wish u all a happy hollyday and i hope to see u again in game real soon.

Blocked the port? Do you have such a severe policy at the uni that they don't provide the full service?

They say its for educational purpose so... they blocked all game ports :S

Doubt they will accept this but you could argue you are learning Spanish and English from playing Regnum making it educational ^^

Just one question: you don't happen to have a graphics card from nvidia? Especially from the 8x00M series?

The exact same thing happened to me not too long ago, and it turned out that there was a production error in the 8x00M series of cards (and possibly even more cards!).

most likely the inverter or the cold cathode fluorescent for the backlight has burnt out..common in laptops.

anyways i only seen ya a few times but hope you find a way back on more often.

So im back, solved the laptop problem fast, the internet problem took a while but its all ok now so loock behind you syrtis and alsius and for ignis: Have no fear, Leg is here!!! :P

@ Puppypaws: it was the backlight and the invertor.
