selecting ally when attack in bunch
Dear friends,
i am conjurer level 29 having a problem selecting different ally when attacking one target in group. Since many people are sometimes positioned so close i have difficulties to select them (to heal or buff them or so). So should I keep yelling "Spread!" or there is some better way to do it? Thanks, |

It sometimes is indeed hard to select targets in a bigger fight or when pets or other obstacles are included.
Try to play with the camera perspective - mouse right down and move to change camera, add a left click (so that both are down) and release both and the camera will stay in this view. You as Conjurer who mainly has to select allies should make sure to have "Invert selection priorities" activated in the ingame options in the first Tab. It will priorize selecting allys then ovr enemies. |

Thanx, I think this should help.
I was moving and zooming with camera, but did not know about staying in view, as I did not know about "Invert selection priorities". Thanx again! |

Rolling the mouse wheel back one or two clicks also locks the camera.

A good solution would be an /assist command. It works well in raid situations you just enter /assist "player name", you would then pick up who or whatever the assisted player has targeted. I have seen this used in another MMO and it is very helpful.
I don't write code so I'm not sure how difficult it would be for the dev folks. I think I'll put it in as a wish list item though |

You can try invert selection priority, in the in-game options. It swaps the select priority from mobs/enemys to allys/pets.
This can make it easyer to pick out your guys in a fight. Also the option to select someone via the party window would be nice.
