Lost in translation
This thread has nothing to do with Regnum and it was inspired in one big offtopic from the Spanish Tabern. This post is both long and stupid, so feel free to ignore it if you want
But since the best way to learn is by asking, here is my question. Somehow, we started posting about a joke we saw in "Last exit to Springfield", an episode of The Simpsons. When Homer visits the house of Mr. Burns, they enter a room with a thousands monkeys with thousands typewriters in it. The Spanish translation of the joke is that the monkey misspells some word, but we wonder (Spanish Simpsons fans) which was the original joke. According to wikiquote is: Quote:
Basically, I do not know what "blurst" means, and I can not find it in the dictionary. If someone can translate that word for us (or give us some definitions) it would be nice. And if someone could explain the joke to me it would be great I guess it has something to do with a quote from A Tale of Two Cities: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." Or maybe it has something to do with The Infinite Monkey Theorem. Thanks for reading.
