What is in the future...
I just started playing Regnum Online and I am having a blast. It is the BEST f2p mmo i have ever played. But I started getting curious about where the devs were going to take this game. What are their future plans? Are they going to be adding dungeons to level in and such? PVP gear? new classes?
Also how regularly do they update the game with content? thanks |

Oh I just wait for NGD to fix current bugs. After that we can wait for additional content.
BUT, alsius noobzone looks pretty now after adding new resourses with last update. Those sea reptiles skeletons are amazing! =) I hope they are working to draw something interesting for other relms, too.

Roadmap (empty, but part of it was posted in forums) Changelog (list of changelogs with content whats new/fixed etc in each of it, with date) Dungeons: no, engine doesn't support it. Do we have dungeon like place? Yes, cave of golden dragon (Portal leads to it) PVP gear: you can always combine items with some bonuses that suits you better only for PVP. You can even place armor/weapon on quickbar and switch them fast if needed. New classes: nothing announced so far, but I think I saw somewhere in game files few new classes like Rogue etc. Anyway, there is a list of priorities, and for now its like this: fixing seriuos bugs, adding new content: new premium items, improving game look (reworked for now Alsius init area, whole game look will be slowly reworked and upgraded), according to couple of dev posts, craft and storage system (and i even think i heard something about mailbox too), PvP island etc... is coming soon (tm).

well the game is fun for the first few levels at the moment. Later however it will very quickly go down hell but this depends on what kind of game you expect regnum to be. If you are expecting after a certain level to be grinding for hours on end to level, then this is your type of game. However, if you are expecting those quests you keep getting starting out to help you level then abandon hope all ye who pass by here(lvl 25+). After level 30 from what i've heard it turns into a nonstop grindfest the quests dry up and you're left with grinding to level. When you level up you get a chance for some new skills but nothing really special for all that time grinding other than a simple level up.
If you loved games like maple story or other grindfest games then this game will definately be your kind of game for the entire game. The Warzone however is only good for players level 33+ now i know you can enter earlier but if you're not atleast level 35+ you'll be one hit and just well die. So if you can take the time to grind nonstop and do very very little quests to get to level 45+ then the warzone will be fun for you and you can truly enjoy the game. If not like me you don't care for pointless grinding which yields no special rewards except leveling up and some simple loot. Then maybe come back in a little while. Edit:The future with crafting is nice but that depends on how the crafting system will work with drops and such. If it's like how PW did theirs aka having to grind for ~3hrs to make 1 piece of armor at lvl 40(cap is 150) then it'll still be a grindfest. However, if they make the drops for crafting like how quests are 70%+ for most items then crafting will be fun and a good excercise for players. Depending on this new feature will tell me if the grindfest will be over or will just be getting another name mainly "crafting". |

quests end at lvl 40
in alsius you can get from lvl 1- at least lvl 35 in 3 days max with doing minimum number of quests. etc etc. if you're up for grinding find a good group and enjoy. you can hit endgame in let's say 1 month of ~6hrs a day grinding. as for quests, do only those who give good items, others are crap and usually it takes you longer to find quest mobs / npc's and to finish the quest then to grind at least double xp in that time. |

One note: many quests requires that you have finished some other quest first, so sometimes you'll have to do a looong serie of quests to finally be able to do the quest you want to do in order to get some item.
However, I'm not sure if all quests that give good items have such prerequisites, since I'm a quest-a-holic and do whatever quests I find.

that's true, but iirc in syrtis the quests for 3 most powerful items (imo) don't have any prerequisites. i'm speaking of ds ring, em ring and that ammy quest
