Default Hunter - the Slowest Class

A couple of scenarios to show how hunter is the slowest class in the game right now:

1. I see a marksman running from a fort so i give chase. During the chase i get the "You are getting too far from your pet" message. I'm not so stupid to try and tackle a lvl50 marks without my pet, so i slow down to let the pet catch up. After doing this twice, the marksman goes out of sight. So the offensive archer class is faster than me.

2. We retake Aggers and then decide to go to Menirah. The army charges in that direction. I begin near the front as my passive speed is lvl 5. By the time i get to meni bridge i am the very last one at the back of the army, because i had to stop and wait for my pet several times. Mages, knights and everyone get there before me.

This is a major handicap to the class. It needs to be sorted ASAP.

Yes I agree, pet is currently making hunter's (with pet setup) life worse. It really needs fixing.

This new behaviour should really not have been implemented in the first place. RIght now, it's easier for me to hunt with any of my other char than my hunter, well ok it's because I suck but who knows, with a working pet I could at least run to my death faster!.

yeah you are right... I'm not hunter but I see a hunter friend running normal for his pet.... but you are slowest for that!! but if you are without pet .. or your pet is fixed!! there is not nothing in this world faster than you!! that's sure...

I also must agree to this....

Perhaps NGD should give the pet 5% mobility faster than the hunters current speed. This way the pet always keeps up with the hunter, and advances to the enemy at the same rate monsters advance to people in the wild.

Also if you run to the enemy and need your pet, but in the process of chasing the enemy your pet has died from going out of range..
YOU CANNOT SUMMON PET WHILE IN COMBAT.

Because of this, you will have to chase the person all over again. This leaves a pet hunter in a neverending cycle of chase and lose pet just to try to resummon and lose enemy, or get hit while waiting 8 seconds to resummon pet just to lose the chance of getting the pet again.

Why don't conjurers have this same penalty of "if you are summoning pet and are hit the casting is canceled?" It seems more logical since they must focus and concentrate to cast spells.

Im sure that when the balance forum for english speakers comes to be
(WE ARE ALL WAITING FOR IT), that we will all have our opinions on this matter.

The only two fixes for the pet speed right now are:

1) Mobility with pet RIGHT after a fight - resets the pet speed
2) Camo with pet - resets the pet speed

NOTE:

Stalker does not reset the pet speed....

or make it an automatic bonus given to all pets to be +5% speed of what the hunter currently has...
