Slowdown

Every now and then regnum, or rather the time in regnum slows down. No stuttering, no terrible lag (ping 90-160 ms), but the seconds are too long. For example when i try exit, one seconds takes 2-3 seconds in real life. Same with casting and fighting. Every action takes 2-3 times longer than normal. Spells with 1.5 sec casting time takes 3-4 seconds to cast.

Masseri lvl 17 warlock in alsius. Opengl linux

that been happening to me to my spells last way longer and it happens wen is around 200 players on my ping goes from a nice 150 to 300 even 800 in a sec my spells be taking ages to

But in this case ping doesn't seem to have any effect

It seems to be doing it every day now during the day hours. The only time to properly train is late at night

yea thats true i guess the sever cant handle to many players like it use to or maybe to many players are joining regnum

Hi,

AFAIK, the problem is not with the ping (network latency) but with the server (CPU bound); maybe it has to do with the new improvements they are working on (yes it may sound ironic, but it will be eventually fixed).
