Default 1.0.7 the good the bad the ugly

1.0.7 patch will bring in a new era of regnum.
If you desire you can still use your old movement controls.
However, the straffing system will greatly stimuilate new combat tactics.
The new crafting system will generate a new breed of trade for us.
I am excited to know that by crafting I can change my appearance.
Perhaps trade booths will be created to allow us to show all who pass by what we have to offer?
We can now pan 360 degrees in less than a second allowing us to attack/defend/escape with ease.

Gameplay:
- Modified: Skills:

Archers:
- Dual Shot: Cooldown raised to 7 sec.

- Eagle's Eye: Hit chance bonus reduced in levels 1 to 4.
- Death Sentence: Damage bonus reduced in all levels. Cooldown raised to 45 sec. Range raised to 30 mts.

Warriors:
- Typhoon: Casting time reduced to a 2.5 sec.
- Thunder Strike: Casting time reduced to 2.5 sec.
- Impale: Casting time reduced to 0.5 sec.
- Multiple Thrust: Casting time raised to 1.5 sec.
- Lightning Strike: Casting time reduced to 2.5 sec.
- Feint: Range now is the same as the equipped weapon range.
- Shield Wall: Influence arc raised to 130°
- Stars Shield: Influence arc raised to 130°
- Deflecting Barrier: Influence arc raised to 130°
- Spiritual Blow: Casting time reduced to 0 sec.
- Rend: Casting time reduced to 0.5 sec.
- Beast Attack: Cooldown reduced to 45 sec. Casting time reduced to 0 sec.
- Deafening Roar: Casting time reduced to 0.5 sec.
- Howl: Casting time reduced to 0.5 sec.
- Onslaught: Duration reduced to 10 sec.

Mages:
- Mind Push: Cooldown raised to 15 sec.
- Regenerate Self: The power now verifies the Conjurer's health, if maxed it cannot be casted.
- Regenerate Ally: The power now verifies the objective's health, if maxed it cannot be casted.
- Sanctuary: Maximum duration reduced to 20 sec. Casting time raised to 2 sec.
- Wind Wall: Damage resistance percentage raised in levels 2 to 5. Attacks cannot be blocked anymore.
- Cremate: Cooldown raised to 80 sec.
- Energy Borrow: Drain values reduced in all levels.
- Bless Weapon: Bonus reduced in levels 2 to 5.

- Modified: The animation system has been modified to check if the animation is longer than the casting time and avoid it if this is true.

Server:
- Fixed: Improved positioning code. Positioning updates depend on the distance between players. If farther, less updates needed. If closer, more precision.
- Fixed:

Client:
- New: Launcher now checks the consistence of the game resource databases (sdb files).

Content:
- New: Ignis initiation zone quests.
- New: Ignis initiation zone visual improvements.

NOTE: This changelog is not the definitive given that the version is still under development.

I like you and respect you as a player. I will say this only once... I posted my response on multiple threads to show the importance of the issues that will soon come to pass. I do not care about thread count, I care about being heard and the future of regnum. This poll was made to gather the percentage of people who like/dislike the update. This poll was not made to be filled with spam or pointless chatter. Let your vote speak for you This is a general discussion matter.

No, I would be excited just if they would put new scenarios to play in. The way of playing is almost the same, the same system of powers, with little changes for me, and a new good way to move the character I would not enjoy more than new scenarios as I said. Good things, bad things... it is ok, but I am patient.

I don't really care for the marksmen nerf, but the Sanct for Conjus? Really? The Ons nerf seems a little unnecessary as well.

Also not too excited about the new movement system. Strafing doesn't look too good and the controls are much more complex. I don't want to have to learn how to move all over again D:

I can name 10 players, I wont, who now think the future of regnum depends on NG3D 2.0 being good, its the last hope for many, after the crushing fail of the prior "last hope" (Invasion) its better be good...

And I dont mean just dressing old issues in new outfits.

I don't understand the necessity of slowing barbarians. It's not like we could catch up to hunters anyway.

Yes I'm glad to see hunters get nerfed , not becuase it will stop them killing
me, but it does decrease the number of players they can dry gulch in
one day. Good for you NGD. Now hopefully we can get a speed balance that
allows ALL classes to be able to catch an ambushing hunter and have a
chance at some revenge.
