Announcement from Piz

Hey there's an announcement I want to make to all people who read my comic :] I am going to make a short film as a side project in my school. It's going to be an animation based on the comic. I ask you people for help because an event like that involving whole community will keep us together! ;]

I am gathering voices at the moment in a form of casting. If there's anyone who'd like to give a voice, please, record yourself with various expressions and send that on crudity@gmail.com
That's the first stage, just hearing your voice, seeing whether it's clear and quality is okay.

The second stage of casting will happen when I get most of the possible voices I need. During that stage your voice will be fixed with a certain character.

The third stage is the last one. You will be given whole scenario with coloured text specially for you, and with special emotion adnotations.
If you can, please send all the possible ways of saying one quote, let me see which one would fit better.

The format is simple. Wav would be best, but I can accept ogg, mp3, wma etc.
Don't worry about little hissing or humming. I think I can clear most of the noise.
(people's acting skills are various and I don't expect professional records)

HINT FOR QUALITY RECORD
Don't talk directly to the mic, try a little higher or on the side. This way your breath and "s or c" won't be that noisy.

Main reason it's not about Piz it's that I lack a microphone and my spoken english is terrible. And it's same with others, I need a clear accent and no noises ;]

Insane Swedish Warlock Who Must Be Kept Unnamed For Legal Reasons is in, if you can stand a terrifying swedish accent.
I'M IGNIS OMG I can clash. And I used to be Ra. :3

Anything for the one comic to rule them all.

EDIT: ... Please? I could even go back to playing on Ra, if you want to.

PM Znurre so he may choose somebody he know, for his voice.

A meeting on Mumble could be useful to have an idea of the tone of the voices, you could choose more easily then, I think. (do you have a day and an hour in preference for this kind of rendezvous ?)

And an idea of how many people you'll need for your project would be necessary. I assume that most of the scenes will take part in Alsius (so, many cabras characters). But who do you already have in mind atm ? And for Ignis char ? Or Syrtis ones, after all ?

You have my support, ofc, but I'll lend my voice only if nobody else fits the role (it will be with pleasure, though).

Yes, a mumble meeting would probably suit your selection much better. That way you could select what voices you'd prefer for the given character. My voice is just low and deep (should you need a description) and I'm more preferred to play serious characters anyways if given such an option.

Anyways you're clearly going to get much support on this project. Just get ready for the responses. :P

You guys are the best. I don't even know how to use mumble, I installed once and got lost :P too complicated. ;D I still think that clear samples sent by mail would be better ;]
