A Question about sockets on weapons

is it impossible for a magna weapon to have 3 sockets? (engrave 1 extra onto magna weapon)

I tried to engrave a socket onto a "special" weapon with 1 socket on it already but it didn't work. i wonder if "engrave socket" is possible on a magna weapon.

Can somebody post a screenshot to confirm?

dont think so. Normal weapons can have 1, magna weapons up to 2. You can try to engrave, but i dont think it will let you.

you cannot engrave a weapon which already got one or more sockets.

kinda off subject... but where can the special rubies and gems be found? i tried pearls and brilliants but the game wont let me.(for sockets i mean)

You can either drop them (rare!) or get them from one of those new "Surprise boxes" (or whatever they are called). When you have one, you know. Their description says things like "+2 fire damage" etc. depending on what gem it is.
