just a quick question..can you jump in game? I know it might be stupid, but for me this is a make it or break it feature of a game for me. imo it add an extra level of immersion to the game..
thanks all |

Nope.
Still, nothing more immersive then a 3 way war at samal...

No,, I don't think NGD is planning to add jumping. (and I think I'm happy about it)

Well, ever played Counter Strike and played against jumpers? Or some game like Perfect world where you can jump 30 meters up in the air. Or World Of Warcraft where all you do is jump around. It's annoying I tell you

yea i see what you mean. but the advantages of getting over fences and terain which normally you go around are why i promote it. besides if you think its annoying or maybe you think it causes glitches NGD could always just do what was done in the game ZELDA.
in Zelda you would just run at an object and jumping was done automaticaly. |

Perfect World, on the other hand.... I think I've spent more time in the air than on the ground in that game. Mind you, as a gay fairy elf thing, once your mana regeneration overcomes the cost of flying, the only reason to touch the ground is for the damage bonus. If NGD implements jumping, they better first implement fall damage.

NGD used to have jumping in Regnum, back a really really really long time ago, but it was more problems than it is worth. It adds (arguably) nothing to the experience and causes technical problems on top of that.

Eck, jumping could be horrible. I remember a many times in wow where I would sit there and spam space bar out of boredom while my character would hop around like a dumbass.
