Default Need advise from experienced marksman.

What you say about my leveling build?
2x deadly sight ring
Royal amulet

Recharged arrows at lvl 3
Shield pierce lvl 3
Lightness level2 (passive from short bows)
Omnipresent lvl3 (passive from long bows)
Cat reflexes lvl1 (passive from tactics)
Foresight lvl2 (passive from aiming mastery)
Slow range 30 bow.

1 shield pierce at each mob than move backwards between shots. I have to rest after every 5-7 normal mobs. I think that is horrible. What tactic shall I use for really faster leveling at lvl 26. I am killing golems atm. I grinded like 2 hours today and only gained 20k xp.

Thank you in advance for replyes.

Hmm its really long ago that i was grinding a marksman, all has changed alot since then but i suggest you to try out if the following config works.

lvl 29 allows you to get disciplines up to lvl15 (where you get lvl4 spells)

15 Arrow Mastery - lvl4 Recharged arrows (+40% dmg)
15 Longbows - lvl4 Shield Pierce, lvl4 Specialist (+8%dmg)
7 Shortbow - lvl2 Lightness (+7 dex)

The rest i would put into passives and maybe lvl4 Winter stroke in case you are low on hp and need to get range while you still got mana.

Try that as base, it should give you highest possible normal hits and you have Shield pierce as cheap damage spell you can piggyback on your normals. You can try to do a normal hit+ shield pierce, strafe away a bit, normal, normal hit + shield pierce. Hopefully the mob didnt hit you yet and you have it dead by that time. Now test around till you find a good combo (eg. try with less use of Sieldpierce) that allows you to use as less mana as possible while with the same time not losing (much) health. And test with different bows, generally a slow one with good damage will hit best through the armor at that lvl but well, test it.

That should allow you to grind longer without the need to rest.

DS rings are the best choice, for amulet id either go for something with Dex on or +damage orrr for more mana (+100 mana amu, but im not sure what lvl you get that). If you can get some items with mana or Dex on it might help out too.

Good luck

Lol. Every suggestion is welcome. I am really doing something wrong. Or maybe it's just because of the nerf, before I used to grind like this and I only had to stop like 2-3 times at half hour.

I wouldnt say 'experienced'

and not a build as such.
using 30m slow lb with recharged arrows.

for blue, yellow + orange mobs

Mob 1: 2 shots at max range...20-22 paces backwards...Sudden strike(2)...serpent bite(3-4)...normal shot....put bow away or rest.....when mob is 1/3 way back resume norm shots till kill.

Mob 2: 2 shots at max range...20-22 paces backwards...norm shots till out of range..put bow away or rest.....when mob is 1/3 way back, stand (if rested)...sudden strike (fires when mob is in range).....serpent bite...norm shots till kill

repeat 2.

i also have eagle eye(3-4) and sometimes focus(1) on to improve to hit rate.

This usually allows me to grind 10ish mobs b4 i rest to refill mana....but can continue pretty much indeffinatly if the mobs dont evade/resit too much.

If you turn off recharge you will find you get alot more mana to play with, but does increase time/kill ratio.

And yes since the 'nerf' it is a lot harder to grind solo for a marx...if you can get another marx of the same-ish level its a lot better....only really need to alternate ambush/sudden strike between you for each mob.

On my marks in grind I go for Max range (forsight 5) med-30 bow, recharged 5, levle 33 arrows (to save money) and pretty much just normals and backpedal, often can kill blue mobs without taking a hit unless they evade a shot or 2, because of this I dont often take damage, use little mana, can can grind for quite a while though I never checked how many mobs I can go though before resting.
