Failed to copy the file 'RegnumOnline.exe' to 'SelfUpdate'...

I'm sure I've seen (and used advice) on this problem before, but I can't locate it now.

I downloaded the new version (17 Dec 2009), and now get this message when I run Regnum:
Failed to copy the file 'RegnumOnline.exe' to 'SelfUpdate\RegnumOnline.exe' (error 3: the system cannot find the path specified)

I'm on a laptop running:
Windows Vista Home Premium
with dual Intel T2080 processors (@ 1.73 GHz) and 1GB of RAM
Display Adaptor is a lousy intel 945GM chipset, but hey... it's a laptop!

The file is not in Program Files, but is installed in the c: directory.
I've tried running as Admin, but get the same error.

I could uninstall the whole thing and start from scratch, but given my access is spotty, that takes forever (and so I'd like to avoid it).

Suggestions?
Prayers?
