Crash and burn

I just downloaded update the game
but when i click on game exe
accsept the therms of agreement

it crashes instantly "RegnumOnline.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

it like dosnt even start to go ingame .... like its an exe for error thats it

I'm having the same problem..... Anyone know how to fix this? It crashes as soon as the little regnum box opens up after verifying.

check your drivers are up to date and try using opengl if your using d3d, or d3d if on opengl. Other than that try a different shader

I just updated my video card driver, and still crashing when the game is about to check the firewall. Not sure I know what you mean about the other stuff. Here is the history of my problem. I have been playing the game just fine on this computer, but had to format because something happened. I have downloaded directx, vcard drivers, and the game. Do I need to dl this opengl and d3d? and how do I change to another shader?

You should already have everything you need, except maybe the C++ Runtime package ... you didn't mention it. If you have an Intel graphics chip, you may not be able to play with the new engine no matter wht you do.

You can switch between Direct3D and OpenGL rendering from a drop-down list in Options after logging in to the game. You can change the shader model there also. Try fixed pipeline on OpenGL first, and other configurations if that does not work.

Some people with ATI cards have reported that updating to the latest drivers has lowered game performance or left them unable to play altogether. So if you have an ATI card, try a driver that's a few versions old.

I have an nvidia g force 4, I was playing in less than a day ago just fin. I'll try deleting the live folder.

I just deleted liveserver folder, still crashes after hitting enter world and it tries to check for the firewall.
