Problems become common

Situation on servers changes, but now looks like Horus and Ra have common problems.

1. Several times I read on forum posts about spaming areas near the fort doors and hiding back in forts. Yes, it is a good tactic. Yes, it makes fight boring. But with my knight I have no choice. When I came out I cannot even focus on somebody. I click, click and click, but nothing happens. Crowd of 20-30 ppl make my game laggy. I have good computer, fast connection, but I have lags anyway.

Today we protect Ignis gates on Ra and I hide in tower with around 20hp. I played with lvl24 marksman and tryed to stay alive as long as possible. I was waiting for several minutes but my hp regenerated just for 40points. I was not under curse or any buff. That was simply lag.

I am sure I am not alone with my lag problems.

2. I heard so many blame to Horus players, but most of them even don`t know how great could be fights in Regnum. I didn`t know that too untill I tried Ra. Once tried I lost all interest to play on Horus.
Most amount of Horus players start play when Spec, magic and epic items already appear, invasions mechanis already started, even fatigue already removed. It brings new people to game. New people with other interests and nobody can blame them for that.

3. Yesterday when I entered war zone, one of spanish players send me trade and chat requests. He said that I have to pay for passing the gates

I can understand people who play just for drops, who like to trade more than to fight, but I will never understand that) Sure, maybe that was just a joke))

SOme players don`t respect others. On both servers. People is people. Atleast on Ra I don`t understand most part of players because "Hablar mal espanol" But English speaking community on Ra BEST OF ALL. Friends, thank you for you are)


IMAO we cannot change something on both servers. But we can change atleast on one.

Regarding to Horus players...
Guys, if you want to participiate in good war come to Ra. Let Horus GRINDERS and MERCHANTS trade with themselves and come to Ra. That will resolve several problems: make your dreams of war real and return interest to old Ra players. I know causes why players don`t want to move to Ra:
1) Leveling again
2) Problems with Spanish
3) Leaving items, magnas and money
4) Ranking and RPs

I`ve deleted my 30-35 lvl chars on Ra Alsius twice. Last time I gave all I have to Regnum-Irae. I leave 2 magna ingots, magic knight armor, 50lvl knight and whole clan on Horus. And now I start in Ra Ignis. I have no doubts that I do right. Because I found game and community I was searching for. I learn some spanish basics and now I understand all important moments in game. Remember, that is just a game and that game may be much better than it seems.

I really agree on point 1)
Lag really is a very big problem now in RO, especially when invasions take place. Maybe some of the NGD staff should check it out themselves, but they've probably done that already and know that if there's 150 people at one place you just can't even move. Right now it seems that Invasions only ever take place at hours at which very few people are online and that's not quite the point I think. Sure, it must be fun, but how epic would a battle with 150 people be if one was actually able to cast something? I cannot imagine. Nevertheless, yesterday at Znurre's event there were loads of people too, there WAS lag too, but I found it playable and it was really cool. How amazing it'd be without lag I cannot tell but I'm sure the excitement would be much higher and there wouldn't be so many people leaving such a great event due to lag and FPS problems.

Concerning point 2)
Yes, it is epic to fight such huge battles but sometimes I miss the good old 15vs15 fights or even less, where skill actually mattered and not who had more areas. Anyway, I can imagine well how exciting this must have been for you, seeing such a big fight but it was a big event too, so there's not always so many people

It was fun to play with you too, good to hear that you liked it and that you decided to join the legends

you forgot 4) and 5) in migrating problems.

4) game lag, server crashes
5) leaving your fellows behind. items are just records in database and pixels on screen, ranks and rp, is just numbers.
and no, chatting time to time, doesn't cut it.

4) Lag on Ra is far worse than on Horus, on my new PC I can play both fine on high detail shader 3.0, but on my old PC trying to war on Ra was like banging my head on a brick wall,

5) Even if your freinds would go with you, they also have freinds who may not and wont move because of this, as well as grinding again, items that people get attached to etc...

Horus will never become an English Ra if people leave all the time to go to Ra...the English player base worldwide is HUGE. RO needs to get a strong corner of this player base because large player bases feed on themselves....this will not be possible if the English-speaking server is deserted. The best thing for this game would be for people in Horus to stick it out and make it into an English Ra. It's not just the items that keep me in Horus (I've got nothing special really and don't mind that), it's my realm, my friends, and the hope that Horus will someday become strong.

Server ping is the "minimum" ping that you could experience, player ping is the ping that your own connection adds in.....if I understand it right...
