Leaving the game

I am sad to write this, but yesterday I tried to play again after a month or more break, hoping I can relax a bit with a friend. The sad thing is, that I find eating broken glass more relaxing than playing a game with such gameplay.

I never understood the leaving threads, why make such a fuss about it? Ironically, now it's my turn, although I am not LEAVING per se. It's not a protest either.
I just have enough, I never EVER played a game with such log, 4 resists in a row, evade fight, every time. There's no point in this. Ragequit is not my style, I just get tired after 1,5 hour of such hopeless grinding.

I won't leave the forums or IRC, you guys know me too well. (I won't stop drawing the comic either) I will play sporadically anyway, for the friends, during events, to check how's it going inside. I just stopped liking this game and find no joy in actual playing.

So don't get this thread in a drama way, don't yell "nooo piz you too?!"
I'm just wondering if those threads actually do mean something to developers. If they do, that's why I'm writing it instead of just quietly not playing.

I never really knew you that well, but it is a shame to have someone who was known so well leave.

This is probably a bad time but, will the comic continue?

Cant blame you, for the casual player the gameplay is a wreck right now.

Hopfully one day NGD will manage to recreate the magic that snared us pre 1.0

i too find the reason list for logging in getting shorter n shorter.

my one reason is friends..why i use RO as some secondlife type of game now.

they know resists are impacting the game so badly, yet they have stated theyd rather work on models. i too have never seen a game where the player misses so much..in other rpgs you at least get better at hitting things to put it bluntly..here you feel simply as youre just as inept and blind..but higher level..and the monsters..just bigger versions..

lag is becoming commonplace, at certain periods its just chaos..where is the money people pay them go..where is the work being done to remedy it? where is the even acknowledgement of it?

NGD is never on the forums, not even to give us real details of what they are busy on, or if any of our wish lists/bug reports are listened to, its sad.

im trying out some different games at the moment too, and well i fear once i find one..well its good bye Regnum. sucks because this still has so much potential but fails because none of it is being fixed, just covered up with bandaids (lag errors, fixed by phantom swings?) hmm pets dying while left behind gfaster hunter...well lest make pets FASTER than hunters! great idea)

and so on..

if anyone has a good (FREE) mmorpg that can match this community i'd like to know too.

So my laptop must go for now! (ask me for full details, it is an Alienware Mx18 3rd gen Ivy bridge i73920xm & configured with SLI twin Nvidia 675m, paid 3,330$ asking 2,800$ or 2,400$ + netbook.
