Anyone notice threads being closed at an alarming rate?

I have entered 2 threads since i have been on and found both were closed before i could have input. Im sure sending a PM to DKY would get a quick response but as this is game based around community i would prefer to discuss it there.

I agree with froste in agreeing with the poster of an unnamed thread that was recently closed. I dont know what most of the ppl in that thread think big brother is but it seems they dont take that statement the same way i do. I really much prefer that if someone has a problem with what i say they report me. Rather than someone lurking in chat waiting for something allegedly offensive to be uttered.

As I am sure this will be shortly closed, i posted this because i would like to be able to post on topics if i so choose but as it seems things get a little too personal and the topic is ended.

Oh and as far as throwing stones in glass houses goes i think mecco and gawynn may want to climb off their pile o' bricks and take a look at where they reside.

And this is because i like confetti.

I agree Terekon, this is the Inn after all and moderation should be light.
If it were General or the Support forums I could understand it but here
there should be a wide area of voice.
Yes there are things that should be overseen; spam, hatespeech/racism, hacks,threats of violence, etc, and we have to remember there are kids here
but some of the stuff I see getting pulled makes me go ...huh?

You are right. What it seems to make NGD close half of the threads (at least what they say), is that they spend hours trying to improve the game, working on anything, and then they get pissed of when at 12 AM they see the forums and everybody is still complaining after their hard work.

Well i dont believe that what i posted was complaining about NGD not working hard enough on the game. Actually since the hot fix the other day i have much fewer crashes when online. the posts that my post is in agreement with was about a problem had with something that was taking place in game.

My main complaint is over moderating. The first thread I was referring to had several posters discussing the issue and some ppl seemed to take the persons complaint not very serious and post personal attacks against Vythica. Then the thread got closed due to the thread opener not contributing productively.

Then froste opens a thread to voice his opinion and its immediately closed. As godot said this is the inn and i would assume since this is for player discussion that players should be allowed to discuss what they feel is important in an open forum. Now that being said im not condoning hate speeches, or racism.

First off this statement denotes that you know me and gawyn, fact is you dont...i think ive talked to a handful of times on Ignis(and talked to gawyn even less). So unless you have something to back this(so called statement)up please be quiet.

Second its funny only how mine and Gawyn's names were mentioned, we weren't the only ones posting on the thread...lets read out the people who disagreed with Vythica's post: Klutu, Daar, Anpu, Pretty kitty,Immune, Umaril, Gideon slack, JzJ75, Kyrottimus, Myxir.
Now its not really my fault the majority dont have a problem with Dky being present on RC and are happy with what he does, what i dont get is this...

For a long time NGD get so much shit for not being more active in the community, people who have played as long as me are used to surakor(had fun annoying him many a time), kailer, chilko being present on realm chat at some point and if im honest they should do it more. Dky isnt there to be a 'big brother', hes there to(as he stated) answer questions, give feedback to players about what NGD is doing, to listen to people's problem's and generally just help the players.People's issues to Vythica's thread was this simply...He Left, but then still has the audacity to comment on game play and on the role of one of the GM's. If vythica had such a problem with Dky's action's maybe he should have reported it like were meant to do not blast it all over forums.

Ive come to realise that in this game we need mods and devs to deal with some of the assholes we play with in game...maybe these people need to move on..like they said they would.
