Horus: Alsius New Clan for Training [AoA]

For all interested. Ascendancy is trying something new - We hope this works out well and assists Horus Alsius. We've broken the clan up into two clans.

Ascendancy (Pure waring group, high levels, etc).
Acolytes of Ascendancy [AoA] (Grinding, war training clan).

Acolytes of Ascendancy [AoA]
This clan is for grinding, anyone is welcome. The purpose is to help move lower level players into the ranks of the fighting faster. We'll conduct warfare training in teaching new players pvp, fort war, and open field tactics. We are hoping we can get more interest in war by getting them when they are younger in level. We'll have dedicated support conjurers to assist when needed and tons of information available via our clan forum and through our IRC channel.

Ascendancy
Ascendancy's purpose hasn't changed...it's just now more focused.

If this works and we stay focused (and we get interest from lower leveled players) I think we'll have a huge impact on making Alsius more "war friendly". We want to help where we can....and this is one method we came up with.

Best of luck for this project, we really need it. Id would really like to see all active clans alsius somehow merge into these two to create some kind of brotherhood to establish a sense of coordination.

Ive seen how well the Ascendancy guys work together as a team. ive even gone as far to say that the only time when we are really good is when we lead by one of you guys and everyone in my clan chat could second that. So for that knowledge to be bestowed upon everyone would be a great thing.

I really wish you success and I`ll repeat words of Quiver (very good player that I didn`t see more than for year) he told me once: "You do the Great Job for Aslius".

Well... I haven`t done great job for that realm and will not do. Maybe you will.

Nice to see some clan making an active effort to train new players up for warzone, just taking Trele back today I saw a conju making a fair few basic errors and getting himself killed largely because he didnt know how to position himself.

Well were gonna try our best - spent some time in mont past few days helping out younger lvls - i always promote regnum.wikia on realm chat and to new players

And im also trying to encourage more grind parties

had a fairly good sized 1 going

shame we didn't have a conj though

Funny, Alsius have always had Grind Parties going - though the numbers have reduced around August/September last year.

Hopefully the co-ordination effort will be extended onto the General (Alsius) Public, and not just focused on attracting new members for a specific clan.

- just because were doing this doesn't mean we want everyone in our clan, we simply want more people who are trained for the warzone in the realm.

All clans are 1 in every realm. Players all fight & play together couldnt care less if a player switched clans or stays

i think i love Samsara more then my own clan

AoA is basically a boot camp it's main objective to train new guys who otherwise get bored and quit RO or get to 20 and ragequit Alsius. AoA members will have a chance to join ascendancy and yes this may be a primary choice for them, as the members of ascendancy have alts in AoA they can however join whoever they want or stay if they so choose.

We do not take away anyones free will in this clan even if Comp does look like Merciless Ming

We're trying to help Alsius...if they want to Join Ascendancy when they are asked...they can - no one forces joining any clan.

What I'd rather not see - is people flaming this attempt at helping the Realm. We split our current clan apart so that we have enough alternate members in the new clan to support those trying to gain levels.

Now, will this help Ascendancy....maybe if the people choose to join, will this help the Realm...for certain

IF - people back the idea. The sister clan is ran by Ascendancy members...I don't see many people jumping at the chance to help low leveled players grind :P

So....lets be adult, not children....give constructive criticism...don't flame.

I have seen this at in many other games, and I have to say, it is a great way for newbies to meet other newbies, and help each other lvl. It is also good to keep a few very good high lvl players in the beginner clan, because they need to organize/direct the new players.
