Target cannot be attacked now

Hey guys,

Few minutes ago I was killed by Roba from Ignis and it wasn't be weird if I could attack him. I've seen him quite earlier, when he was rushing me so I could prepare to the fight. When I've selected him and try to attack with any skill, only thing I've get was "Target cannot be attacked now" - and he didnt use "Low profile" skill, cause he was able to attack me in the meantime.

As you can see, he used Stunning fist, but I could swear I couldn't attack him before. His first skill was SoTW of course, I've get a risk with Will domain but you cant even see it on log, cause of this "Target cannot be attacked now" thing. You can also see at the first screen shot, that when I couldnt attack him, I wasn't on any skill effect (like Stunning fist etc.). This fight last about 15-20 seconds, in that time I couldn't attack in any way.

Dunno what was that, I'm far from judging and so on. But it's very weird to me, I've never seen anything like this before. Is it a bug or what? Hope you know the answer.

Yep that happens to me a lot, but only on my knight when im on close combat.

I think its a position bug, most likely hes somewhere else and your facing the wrong way or something. That happens to me when i am attacking a barb it says not facing enemy, then when i die i lag a bit and see him behind me or on the side =/

But im not 100% sure if its the same for you since your a mage

I seem to be geting a lot of that when trying to heal a player. It has happend accross all classes. There is nothing more frustraiting that seeing someone with low health and having to chase them down becasue target is immune to spells.

I don't think it has anything to do with positioning, he would have gotten a "you need to be facing your target to use that" message.

That's the usual message when you try to attack someone in sancuary/low profile or someone's under resurrection immunity. Since he didn't look like he was under either of those i have no idea how it could have happened

Doesn't look like positioning bug to me either. When I couldn't attack him, I were circulating him over and over, to make some time, but whether the front or behind, I still couldn't make any dmg.

This isn't an accusation but my thoughts. I personally feel this particular player hacks. Of course I can't prove it, but my every encounter with him has resulted in the same thing, just cannot attack him, nevermind the positioning bugs and all, every single time, every time, it's the same, just cannot attack him.

Would be nice if the proper authorities could take a look into it. I'm sure he has been already reported with video evidence.

Longer than it lasts when you kill lvl 50s in 4-5 seconds throwing 5 spells in a row without any pause at all. How do you do that? I thought that gcd cheat was fixed...... Do you have some perfect system or ubergear or what? Tell us please.
I have seen that uberfast casting before and mostly by locks* from Alsius. Very strange hmmm.

* Not all, just a few wellknown locks.

I didn't count each second in that fight, so it couldn't even last 15 seconds. My point was to show that it last much longer than a fight with 50 lvl barb, who needs only 3-4 hits to kill ya (you can count in log I've put here, that Roba made 21 hits before he killed me - would be much less if I wouldn't use Energy barrier in the half of our fight). I also didn't stay in one place, so he could just hit me one by one, this also made some time

About my gear - it's not uber I think. My staff gives me +13% cs (base +6% from special staff, +7% from gem put into it) and my gloves gives me +6% cs, so it gives +19% cs in overall (plus 5 lvl Arcane Devotion). Lord Necromancer tunic I wear is a special one with const +3 and Hat of The Stars gives me +115 mana. No magical or epic items as you can see.

My fight system base on analytics I made with gcd - to choose the best very short gcd spells (have 3 good one maybe). I doubt I ever killed anyone in 4-5 seconds - my best score was like 8-9 seconds (when every spell from my system wasn't resisted by an enemy - then he could die quite fast, without making any dmg to me). The most important thing is to cast spells wisely, then you have about +30% more chances to win a battle (or you can cast blindly Meteor, Fireball and personal Sultar Terror for example )
