Default Hey all

I'm danyael demonic in game. I'm trying to decide whether or not to drop WoW. Been playing for about 2yrs but the cost & tech issues are far outweighing the advantages this game used to have. Has anyone here done a complete switch from WoW or another mmorpg?
Are there dungeons/instances here?

Welcome to Ro, Ive come from WoW also.
Can I ask what you were more into? PvP or PvE?
If it was PvP I would say you've made the right switch, Its much better, and playing with people is a lot more fun. More of a closer community, lots of team work ect.
But if its PvE, then this may not be the game for you, the grind is pretty long, but its do able.
No Dungeons or Instances, unless you want to count the level 4 or 5 spider queen in the Ignis noob zone.

You were talking about tech issues?

If you are of the oppinion you have seen alot of bugs, laggs, crashs and chronicle defaults in WoW, be sure to have way more here. You will find here a community that sticks together and a developer team, not taking care for all kind of technical issues that dont affect their financial income.

Piece of advice, don't listen to Raideniza, it's a troll.

piece of advice, don't talk about what you have no idea. rather stick to writing worthless balance threads inspired by your inability to properly play the game.

well, as far as trolls and back and forth banter...i feel at home

I haven't had any tech issues out of RO yet. I'm even able to play with full graphics, something I couldn't do in WoW. I'm just debating on whether or not to buy Cataclysm and keep paying $15 a month for a game that I can only play on lowest settings, or make the switch here, build a clan like I had before and enjoy myself

well, as far as the costs go, you're gonna end up paying similar amount of cash on regnum like you did on wow, because leveling=grinding is so boresome so you'll need boosters to grind faster. once you get to level 50 and start experiencing your char, and skill in same setup like 90% of regnum population (because of skill and balance changes everyone is slowly being forced into same builds) you'll wonder why is someone attacking/casting faster then you. Then you'll approximately spend 1 year of wow subscription on ximerin just to get good items, because otherwise you'd have to grind for months (or just 3-4 weeks of 10+ hrs/day grinds) to get anything good.

now go figure if it's worth it.
