Regnum stopped working

I played yesterday with no problems. Today for some reason, I can get to the point where I put my user id & password, click login, then nothing. The window closes out and i'm back to my workspace. I even uninstalled and re-installed Regnum but that didn't work either

System specs: P4, 2gigs ram, intel GMA950 video, ubuntu 10.10

* After re-installing, I noticed that it still had my user ID saved...making me believe that something was still on my machine like a cookie or something that would keep my name in the login screen.

There are usually two hidden files in your home folder.
~/.ngdstudios and sometimes ~/.rolauncher

I uninstalled and manually removed the hidden folder .ngdstudios. After a fresh re-install....it does the same thing to me. I put in my user id and pass, click login, then it crashes back to my desktop

Is there somewhere that I can view error logs for Regnum?

There is an error_log file in the regnum/live folder.

hmmm I don't see a log in there. I see a folder named "lib" but nothing in there either

I am sorry, but I have no clue how to solve this problem.
You could always try to install strace and run the game using it:

strace ./rolauncher

Maybe this will give us some interesting information.

man i'm just lost :/ it worked PERFECTLY for about a week now nothing. I DO have wine installed. Hopin the windows version will work for me

I have a folder named 'live', 12 data files, my rolauncher & an uninstall. Inside the live folder there are files like my icons for the game and all, but no error or crash logs anywhere
