Boss battle theme (Alasthor)

Took down the original and i'm gonna to try and fix alot of things in it^^

Gonna change this topic to a more interesting idea than just one battle music piece. Can be a thread of user made songs. Let's see what cool tunes people can come up with.

A nice idea, but first wouldn't it require that the boss is epic in design and combat?

The music is very ... not soundtracky. The lack of bass line and rythm variety, improved with only small amount of intrumental voices sounds very very empty :S but I do agree about boss fights needing more music. This game in overall needs more music tracks, but I don't think it's cheap.

XD nooooo, wouldn't actually use this song. It would have to be remade completely with quality because the program i used is more like super nintendo music. I'm not musically talented whatsoever, and it's the first battle track i ever made messing around on a program last night, but thought boss music would be awesome! I like the beat though, but it would probably go better with Syrtis dragon since they are more forest when i think about it and since it feels like a jungle fight haha.

Tools used: Kork PadKontrol for percussion, Sampletank2 free edition for female lead, Choir, a mix of soundfonts and the sampletank lead for choir. Strings are the EWQLSO free edition mixed with a couple other orchestral sets I have. DAW (digital audio workstation) used are Reaper and FL-Studio.

It was written for a tabletop RPG game we were playing. The music was to be "creative inspiration" heh. Still despite some of the flaws I think it turned out well. There are a few issues I'm aware of from a production/quality standpoint, and I do plan to correct them, but I'm involved with some other projects so this piece is on the backburner for now.

I'm also passively looking for a better place to store my tracks. Thinking of going with Reverb Nation. I know several who use it, so I'm leaning in that direction. I learned too late that the sixtyone re-compresses any mp3s you upload into 128kbps using whatever algorithm they use. :/

Nice Marek. For sure yours has a nice melody to it. Maybe should change this thread to community created songs and have fun with that. Gonna try to make a better one, and test that.
