Minimizing Game Window

How do I minimize the game window and move into another window with Ubuntu? Normally, alt+tab works on other applications, but here it doesn't work. I can't even open the command line with alt+f2. Thanks!

Press ALT+RETURN to switch to windowed mode from fullscreen and vice versa.
ALT+TAB works with windowed mode.
