Quest Glitch

I was doing one of the pendant holder quests and after I killed the second set of monsters I went to ferstel (gokstad) and I turned in the quest but he didn't give me the next one. I though that I might have accidentally pressed accept but my quest log is empty. So I went and killed the third set of monsters to see if anything happens and nothing happened. WHERE DID THE QUEST GO?

P.S. The exclamation mark over his head is now a faded grayish color.

Please tell me what I can do to get the quest back

If it is grey, that meens next quest - next level.
You have to grind a bit before being able to get the next quest from him.
