Karma
Hello community,
Just a minor question, When you are sending me bad/good karma could you atleast have the balls to sign it? That will be all keyboard warriors. |

Wow, someone actually cares about that. Personally I do not care about any forum/profile features. I rarely use them on any of the hundreds of forums I am active on.
Also, where to read about this unwritten rule? |

Ego is such an extraordinary thing.

However, common respect is another. If someone truly has an ego, they will sign their karma, because they can't be hurt by any retaliation. The people who don't are quite the contrary, they avoid signing karma because they don't want their own reputation to be smeared while enjoying smearing the reputation of someone else. That said, I have absolutely no problem with the way the karma system is implemented, and like most players, I learned to ignore it years ago. My only issue is that users can mis-sign as other users, leading to flame wars because there's no way to verify the identify of a person who "signs" their karma.
In this way, signing "your" karma can actually lead to more problems than not signing it, and it has been very common. @ Original poster: Just to let you know, talking about your karma log is not allowed, my first and only ban on this forum in four years was for talking about the contents of my karma log ("posting private information", as the GM worded it). So be careful with that. NGD doesn't want such issues discussed at the forums and they are very insistent on that, use a support ticket instead if you suspect trolling or other abuse. Or, like most everyone else, learn to ignore your karma log completely. |

I don't know about anyone else but I do find my red karma messages quite entertaining. It does not matter who sent them but I am often intrigued by the contents of the minds of those who could send such colourfully worded messages.
I say thank goodness for the internet and the anonymity of it . Such individuals would surely go mad if they kept bottling up the poison they have inside. I am more that happy to be the conduit for them to release it . |

I really enjoy it when someone sends me an anonymous karma... that's because I can read who sent it, laughing at their failing skills
