The new warmaster passive skill.
Some classes benefit more than others, first off.
On my barbarian I put my first 5 points into constitution and I wish you would respect my 'fully customizable' character enough for me to choose which attribute I want my passive warmaster skill to apply to. This is simply more unbalanced crap you threw in. You should really lets us decide which attributes we want boosted. Last edited by Droc; 10-06-2011 at 08:28 PM. Reason: less dumb this way |

So only knights should really benefit from this warmaster passive? Or benefit the most rather?

Don't assume, read - in character window you can read from tooltip what's the primary attribute of each class after you move mouse over attributes.
WM Might boosts primary attribute by 15%, warriors primary attribute is strength, knight is warrior. |

Err... warlocks get more intelligence by this passive skill. So basically warlocks get a little bit more mana and may cause 1-3 more damage with their staff while warriors and especially barbarians get more damage, which is not what the community has been asking for.

It will be fair this boost to be:
Barbs - strength. Knights - const. Warlocks - cast speed. Conjus - duration of spells. Marks - well dunno. Hunters - dunno too. Ideally mage is spell based class. Keeping the possibility to damage with staff is absurd. Even battle mode is absurd. Whole SM tree is absurd if we do not count some spells from it which are usable. Mages can be really happy to run around with a tome / book / wand in one hand and a shield in other. Shield can be kept for conju as defensive and lock can get something else or 2 hand staff.

I think its based on class, not subclass..
Knights and barbs get 15% strength Locks and conjus get 15% int Marks and hunters get 15% dex. Works for most classes i guess, not heard too much complaining about it, but maybe a review and break it down further to subclasses, you guys can work out who should get what tho, i can't brain today...lol

I use it on my Marks. The ~20 points of "free" damage just by having the WM tree is good on my fast warmaster shortbow.
Though honestly, I wouldn't bother using it on any other class. |

Wow I'm so pleased now my normal hits on my mages went from 17 to 18 with this passive yahoo !...
Seriously, this passive is only useful for like 2/6 of the classes... You should have fixed the attributes first before implementing this buff.
