Player Balance Council?

I imagine that NGD doesn't enjoy reading our balance threads that are filled with trolling, bias, personal assaults, etc. Would it be useful to elect some player representatives that would gather opinions and send something like one request per week to NGD?

I imagine that if we already had this, the 1st request would be: can you please change the warmaster offensive beacon to something else? Maybe they'd say no and we could move on to discussing the next issue that they might change.

This could be a nicer and easier-to-deal-with replacement for the 'Ask NGD' threads.

I'd make one council per server and one member per realm. For Horus, I'd nominate these 3 people for their excellent ideas and unbiased posts:

Ignis: bois
Syrtis: Narzoul
Alsius: Seher

Of course, without Frosk's approval, this will go nowhere.

I doubt my opinion is in any way representative. :P Oh and on Horus I play in Ignis actually.

Bois and I already did some summarizing when there was no community manager, and now there's Frosk, so no need for that. I don't really know what you'd want to achieve with this anyway. Everything here finds its way to NGD, it's just about them finally doing something. And from some reading between the lines I'd guess the problem isn't that someone at NGD doesn't like our suggestions, it's rather that they all want different things and can't even come to an agreement themselves. :P

Balance team players had already almost completely stopped playing three years ago, let alone now.

Testing team was disbanded because some members leaked information (but in doing so saved us some really horrible experiences in the following update).

Hahaha no thank you I would never send Seher (with all the respect tough) too represent my opinion its not that I don't like the guy but our opinions are very different, Anyway whats wrong with the current system?

looking at resett's 720 critical from 50 range on marx buffed with strat position 5 and very good/normal defence vs pierce on gear...

Is it just me or does anyone understand your posts? No offence..

On topic, I like this idea alot but the people (besides bois) you choose are not really the first ones I would come up with.. Maybe some sort of ''Contest'' kind.. And ínner game vote option for some sort of council. But then again like NMA said, almost nobody really plays every class equally.. You will always have people who love one class more than the other.

In general, nice idea just needs some tweeking
