Completely agree. These few changes make a HUGE difference and brings the new UI almost on par with the old one in terms of gameplay. Once I see my buffs in the right place I will be 100% satisfied.
Well earned rest :P I know how much it sucks to have to be dragged into work during holidays. |

Fantastic work! I did not expect it to be addressed so soon. I hope the community appreciates the effort put out to do some grunt work and fix this stuff especially at this time of year.
Rest up and try to enjoy the rest of the season. Regards edit: The rest of stuff can wait till the new year. The new UI was very good even with the minor issues. Nearly all issues are fixed and that makes it all the better. Hopefully some more polish will come next year. |

All we need now is the buffs re-positioned and the combat to save it's placement / size, it it'll be nearly perfect.

Just repositioning the buffs isn't enough, there needs to be an option to make them bigger as well, and move them like you want to, etc. I'm all against a dirty fix here. :P
Bigger HP/Mana bars, or rather the option to resize (and move) them at your wish, etc. The log resizing still feels weird, mostly because it works differently than it used to be, so I guess this doesn't matter. The log is usable again, which is what matters! Anyway, much work to be done, much functionality to be added (said stuff above, log needs a lock option, etc etc, there's a whole thread filled with everything a GUI might need), but certainly not at Christmas. The hotfix is great and makes the GUI update a very decent first implementation. Have nice holidays! And have a pony. Ps: Surak, you always manage to bring a smile to my face. :-D
