MAXDDARK is on a distinguished road
Exclamation Crash at game install+are all the older accounts got deleted ?

1.I've played this game when I was still beta, now I can't see my old created characters, I can still login under my old user name, but I don't see my characters anymore ...why ?

2. after I create my new character and start downloading the game it crashes

I've deleted the old files and started downloading again, but it still crashes.

sorry, I forgot to tell you that I'm using Linux Ubuntu feisty.

so move it please to the Linux section.

Try setting your graphics options to low detail.

About your characters, there was a total reset on May 24th.

ok, it does work when I set all the details and texture to low, but come on...do you really expect us the play like this ?
in the beta it was all ok, it worked great and now after the release it become very buggy, sometimes it won't even start the game.
what are you Microsoft ? releasing buggy products ?

now let's get serious, how do I play the game with high quality ?
I have ATI 9800 Pro radeon video card and 1GB of ram
I also use Ubuntu feisty.

sometimes it runs sometimes it doesn't even enter the game, sometimes it crashes inside the game...unplayble at the moment

u need opengl 2.1 version to run as well the efects, sorry i have the same problema like u
i have the driver 8.38.6, and my output is that:

OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: RADEON X700/X550 Series
OpenGL version string: 2.0.6474 (8.38.6)
OpenGL extensions:

ok, so how do I get opengl 2.1 ? or do I need to wait till AMD/ATI releases another driver ?

I've updated my video card drivers to the latest but it still crashes like hell after I select my character.

OpenGL extensions:

the openGL 2.1 isn't released yet, it will be released in August 2.
there must be a solution to this problem, it worked in the beta.

did you make any big changes to the computer since you played in beta? new kernels? new libs?
