About invasions

To NGD:

An invasion is supposed to be a fun event, planned, organized and enjoyable to all the parties involved, not a walk in the park as Ignis does every night, and that is how they have got used to, by "wearing down" (sic) their opponents, and by that it means sitting and waiting till the whatever little opposing ones remain, to log out.

Do you even begin to realize how dire and serious this situation is NGD? Ignis opens portal (sic) 2-3 times every or most nights. Even before the second invasion (note i'm not using the word "attempt" because there is no attempt at all with no one to oppose) begins, Ignis are already discussing "So what wish is next.." (sic).

This game has become nothing but frustration to be on the receiving side, it's now or never NGD. Please go back to the drawing board and rethink about Horus. It won't be very long before all you will see is your beloved Ignis staring at the desert and fighting NPCs (which they are already doing at it is) with no one to fight them.

they are happy fighting against npcs, just stop playing, leave them alone.It is a routine and they must be tired too

I do not agree this methode, has the same smell like alsius strike! Mb the same person behind this?

Anyway NGD did a great job when they made gems uncatchable if the population was low, also liked when 1 realm cap castle other realm cap 1 fort and gate goes in danger, and i liked gates low hp too (well i think it was a bit too low as 1 player could bring it down). But then you all said: ROLL IT BACK! ROLL IT BACK! And they did...

So in short: they already solved your problem once, so next time don't shout so loud against updates!

Wow syrtis cares... sorry just had to, you know what you are discribing is exactly the same
as what happens during my morning almost every day? there was a week were syrtis
actually invaded every morning and got the wish every morning...

I do get what you are saying, and I support it. But what is this going to accomplish?
If what kelindil said is true, this wont help. Defenitly not cause NGD knows we will buy xim in a month or so.

First of all, I agree with the goats here on this one. They've been experiencing this... ever since Horus pretty much came out. Now Syrtis comes, oh poor old, worn out Syrtis, unable to feed on the food of their life - Regnum kills.

Second, I agree that something has to be done. There's no challenge and it's not fun. NGD has kind of tried to help the population balance in on-going fights by adding the unique players thing for daily quests. That's why most of the time whenever I see an Ignis -> Alsius invasion I go grind (a lot more fun than invading empty realm). I will always invade Syrtis, I feel very happy about farming them.

Third, boycotting doesn't seem the best way to get NGD to move, as you said, back to the drawing board. If both Alsius and Syrtis boycott ximerin, that, theoretically eliminates 2/3 of NGD's income. Whether this hinders them from making balance changes I don't know, but I don't think the chance should be risked. The change needs to be well thought out if not a big change. Also, if ximerin scrolls can help you guys level too, then why sap this ability to level with ximerin while us Ignis that are buying ximerin are leveling faster than you, thus creating a bigger zerg?

Fourth, I know you're frustrated, but whining doesn't get you very far (unless everyone else whines and NGD gives in to whining). I think NGD will listen more to more matter-of-fact and less emotional posts, even though it seems like they're not.

Fifth, I wish a mod or admin would come look at this (even better, NGD rep.) and bring the problem to NGD. Doesn't seem like it's being done recently. \\

BTW: If we're all at save, then why don't you guys just invade us? You're Syrtis - which is (or used to be) Land of the Zerg. No solution for Alsius... Problem's been here for really long.

It kind of solved the problem, but brought unwanted ramifications. It balanced one thing and imbalanced another.

As for the time i play i never cared for invasions. I still wander why so many people care so much for them. Invasions are worst part of the game - buggy, flawed, unbalanced. Some wishes are absurd and need to be reworked too.

If Ignis want to invade empty realms i see no problem here. They do, they get some stupid rewards and they logoff. I doubt they get so much fun from this.

This can be solved easy by:

- Make limit to weekly invasions - for example like 1 or 2 a week.
- Remove boats - this feature was unneeded for me.
- Remove noble quest.
- Lockdown realms if population is extremely low.

I know Syrtis are guilty for everything bad in the game. I can say common things for Alsius and Ignis pretty easy. Still it is not needed to turn the thread into troll fest.

Hi all,

guys,as uncreative told,just let ignis fight npcs,log out do something else.
Ignis love to play vs npcs since this game started.

I also hope to see more QQ about some "cheater" that block the gem or bug it on horus ,i love to see pigs cry(ok ok,don't start flame like childs,i'm not serius...pfff...).


On a most serius note,NGD staff,can't do anything for that.
What do you pretend?Do you wish NGD block ignis loggin after 24:00 gmt?
Guys this is a game,don't get ignis invasion that personally.
They just play as us.
If someone of ignis realm organize an invasion,how can you pretend other ignis don't join it?

The ruin of horus is that player take all as a personal offence,and don't let the game REMAIN a simple game,were all,allied and enemys log on to spend their time TOGETHER(even if from separate faction) fighting and having fun.

Also,do you think ignis or anyother realm can do an invasion dorung other hours of the day?Is impossible...
The only 3 time i remember a succesful invasion during EU afternoon was ages ago,when Syrtis was lead by Arwen <3 ( for who doesn't know was an old player that ragequit after WM update).
She was able to plan and make 3 succesful invasion during afternoon in a single week WITH ALL(biggest part) REALMS USERS ONLINE,right the last days of her experience on RO.

Invasions doesn't not give this frustration on RA...you must understand that the actual gameplay gives frustration ONLY to horus player,not on RA,where the games works "properly" with more players(on RA the frustration is not that HIGTH like on horus,but i think it mostly depends by the comunty and inter-realms reaction/interaction,NOT ONLY by the mechanism itself,that sucks too).

I apologize for my crappy english....i hope what i wrote is understandble :S
