[AMUN] - Newer version available!
Hi everyone!
It's now available on Amun a newer version of the game, which includes an almost final version of Regnum. We ask you kindly to test it out and to check if the issues you've been having are solved in it, or if they persist. In case they do persist, please don't hesitate to report it through this thread, along with your machine specs (GPU, CPU, OS, RAM memory) and the graphic options you're playing under. Tomorrow we'll be adding a preliminar changelog to this thread (quite extensive), that'll be useful in some way to guide you on testing or to simply check all the news things out. As a sidenote worth mentioning, all 3 saves have been set in the warzone, but it doesn't mean that these are their final positions. On this matter, we'd like to receive feedback and suggestions. EDIT: Content - Art: - New: Houses and main structures from the Realm of Ignis have been redesigned. - New: Altars of Resurrection in the world have been remodeled. - New: The ancient ruins of the realm of Ignis have been remodeled. - Modified: General map fixing in the warzone. Content - Gameplay: New: Realm Tasks. It is now possible to complete "realm tasks", accessible through boards distributed in main cities and castles. New: 2 resurrection altars have been added for each realm in the warzone, near castles and secondary forts. The location of these altars got selected according to the feedback received from the community. Modified: Resurrection Altars near the realm walls of each realm have been eliminated. Modified: Options menu has been revamped. New: Video Quality slider. This slider provides prestablished options (Low; Medium; High; Very High; Ultra). This allows a quick selection of the video settings according to the user's hardware. New: Advanced Options added in the Video tab in the Options menu. This allows the user to precisely control the balance between performance and graphic quality. Modified: The "Game" and "Interface" tabs from the options menu are now unified. Now all the options from these 2 tabs are now included in the same "Game" tab. Content - Client New: Graphics Engine now supports Deferred Shading, which provides a better graphical quality and a much more better performance. New: Ambient Occlusion. New: FXAA post-process (Antialiasing). New: Bloom. New: Support for lighting in power effects added. New: New weathers and improvements in environments depending on the region of the map and the time of the day. Modified: Lighting. Support for Lighting Per Pixel added. Modified: Details and Quality greatly improved on Water textures. Balance Modified: Minimum damage system is now variable. Realm task deadlock
- choose a realm task and quickly click the board again and choose the next one - only the 2nd task is listed - cancel the 2nd task - impossible to choose a new realm task from the board although the task list is empty (You have accepted a realm task already) Realm Task limit/rewards -the number of tasks should be limited or the rewards adjusted, otherwise its too easy to just choose the extreme highly rewarded delivery tasks(50-100k xp) over and over again to lvlup quickly in relation to mob kill/usual quest xp gain

I hope first they work to fix the actual gameplay. They rush too much to expand the game, without taking time to fix their own errors, balance and bugs. |

You really like slowly grind, don't you? Realm Tasks will change lvling difficulty and more people will be able to fight fast ( and we will get even more gelfs...)

So, the character window still displays misplaced and stretched toon
While in normal places I get more fps on Amun (15-25) than on Haven (10-20), near/inside cities and forts I get low fps (5-15) (this is probably the fault of my shitty notebook though) Gazzan Fenixsteel (ignis general) is positioned near the main gate of altaruk instead of the noble are where he was before and all other realms have their generals atm. Saves: Samal save is ok, Meni save is positioned ok as well, only it would be great if there were guards there (perhaps with lower range), so the enemy couldn't camp them. Shaana save is great, especially as the gate port leads to it. Only again, guards are needed to prevent camping. Inner saves also seem reasonable, but only medenet save is positioned on a hill where you can get fall damage easily if you attempt to run down on the wrong side. As the saves are higher than the former ones, if you spawn on top of them (happens occasionaly), you obtain about 300 fall dmg. The fall damage should be either removed here, or even better- not spawning on top of the save. What I would love to see fixed: Map doesn't keep it's zoom when you relog/change character chat window doesn't keep it's zoom when you relog/change character My specs: Dell Latitiude D630 (GPU: Mobile Intel 965 express chipset family, CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @2.2GHz, Win7 64bit version, 4gig RAM, playing on lowest possible settings, only animation on maximum and particle effect switched on) Edit: In altaruk, the quest items (barrel, chest, shelf..) don't show the little tag when you move your mouse over them, making the quests bit more difficult for newbies. I can't check if the items still work for the quests though... Edit II: Quite a problem with wm quests + realm tasks.(on amun there are two new wm quests from the nobles) If you have FIVE quests assigned, you can still accept a realm task, resulting in 5 quests and 1 realm task. If you have FOUR quests assigned and ONE realm task, you CANNOT accept another QUEST, resulting in 4 quests and 1 realm task

Hi,
I have a lot of connection problems with Amun, but when I log onto Horus, my ping is normal (300). Any help? (By lag, I mean 20k+ ping) |

Ignis has still a white save near the realm gate.
Otherwise very nice update. With my IGP Radeon 3200 and default radeon driver I get at the same framerate more graphic features. I didn't test the proprietary Catalyst driver with the new engine improvements yet. I'm looking forward to the new realm tasks and to the old 3-save system as well. But some realm tasks are a bit to easy and offer too little XP. There was a quest where I should kill 1 Cyclop warrior apprentice, reward 68 XP. |

Looks good so far. I have not been checking constantly so I look forward to that extensive changelog. That way we can go through it piece by piece to test everything.
I made a pass through and I do think that it has been a good effort by the development team. I was trying to trigger the weapon on back bug (warrior) and I was not able to. Is this finally fixed ? (cross fingers). Frame rates are a little less at similar settings but the trade-off is for far better quality and some more granular control. I can live with that. Saves look good. Locations of Ignis ones look fine. Ignis inner area looks spectacular. A real big effort and I hope the players can appreciate that. I will check back when that changelog comes. Cheers |
