Default My list of pros and cons of RO

Here is my personal list of pros & cons of Regnum.
I'm curious what you guys love and hate most in this game.

Pros
+Regnum isn’t a pay-to-win game compared to other mmorpg’s
+hp/mp-potions can't be used during fights
+No crafting (I really hate crafting)
+Changeable setups
+Large open world & free roaming
+Grinding from 1 to 60 doesn’t take ages (again: compared to some other titles)
+Skills in general (although … too many fillers for some classes)
+Lesser number of kids/trolls than in other mmo’s
+No spammers & bots
+Only general/party/clan-chat in the wz

Cons
The most important one for me:
-Repetitive gameplay (just rvr or hunting …)

A few random others:
-Tons of unfixed bugs
-Lack of balance (WM/dmg/speed/stuns etc)
-Lamai (it’s no secret: I hate lamai)
-Game world is … empty (just markets, forts, some ruins, bridges and trees,trees,trees,trees and trees)
-Boss drop mechanism
-Useless achievements (I still can’t understand what they are for …)

Surely "crafting and skills in general" would be one way to alleviate this predicament.

-

The only pro that comes to mind is the UI; it's exceedingly clean and clutter-free.
I will leave the cons to everyone else, would not want to deprive people of a free chance to vent.

- Fix as many bugs as possible
- Change lamai to a ''normal'' size class
- Make achievements usefull

Then i think RO would be a lot more crowded then it is now

In R****** people who pay for item mall Items cause 500% more dmg than others
In S***** item mall gear makes players immortal
In I***** non-payers on 70 lvl (max) die by one hit from paying players on 35 lvl

Yes, me too, in PvE based games.
RvR games mostly are based on seperate smaller maps, which in fact are large corridors....

It is ,enchantments and drop of the gears is sucks that ever,i begin to think there are not others way to retrive epical/magical items just buy plat boxes or buy from others.
Personally i dont drooped any good gear from before Warmaster add-on and even using 14 triple loot chance scroll.

Balance is not so bad when game go in two directions RvR and PvP.

About this i kinda agree,but i think this is correct because when there are large battles your pc and game will freze with more vegetation/house to draw.

About this ya,but they were reset again after new hotfix ,and lost many of them like kill 5000 goblor that takes ages

Regardless, you still gain an advantage no matter how minimal in perspective.

There have been one or two known cases of bots, and you didn't specify "gold" spammers, I immediately thought of banner spam - which we have plenty of.

Take my case for an example.
I began playin RO in november, a few days before the halloween event has ended.
In december i had a 3 weeks break due to my work.
In january i still had much work and in my free time i played another game
I came back to RO in february
In march i spent a lot of time on grinding and reached 60 by the end of march/beginning of april, without any premium boosters.

I'm sure, there are games, where levelling is faster, but in 95% of mmorpgs levelling is much slower.

These were just a few examples. I'm sure everyone, who has played a few of so called "free to play"-mmo's in his life knows what i'm talking about.

I didn't name the titles to avoid discussions about other games on a RO forum.

Some ppl including me grind lamai because of size. Can i get back my time and money if this is changed?

If they are made dwarf size no prob. If bigger - i have already big sized chars...

There could be more XP from war, especially for so called "defensive classes". (no, pointless auras casting to get XP isn't a good solution)

Not a problem to me. I rather play such a kind of game where you can get better, not just do quest, check it and proceed to another.

Well, it is war zone, Try to settle in war zone. ^^

Boss mobs and their drops spoil a lot of game, but it isn't fully NGD's fault.
