Being the originator , Ive said my peace about this.
Take Action or dont. But there are solutions to the problem.

To avoid mixing of two different threads again, here are parts of the originator's statement found in an other thread again:

You mistakingly believe that everyone who gets blamed and punished for a crime, actually commited one.
Game companies and moderators make mistakes. This is therefor, the dumbest idea ever, and would cause little more than poo-slinging and money loss. |

In fact, this kind of measures applied on Regnum would surely, to set an example, attract people onto cheating just to move to the new server just to say "oh, I'm a badass and I'm playing in the server where all the bad guys like me play, duh". Besides, it'd work like some sort of "virtual gaming prison" that wouldn't really solve the real issues. We greatly respect companies as awesome as Rockstar Games, but on a game like Regnum, this just wouldn't work. Best regards! |

That said however, I thought just occurred to me. Instead of banishing cheaters to a server, why not banish them to an island. for a day. or some period of time. It doesnt take away their ability to transact or play the game, they are just stuck on an island with other cheaters. Wheat from the chaff and the like. But then thats probably not the best idea either.

I don't see whats wrong with just banning them, or disabling their accounts for a few days. Thinking of new fun and exciting ways to deal with cheaters is simply a waste of time imho.

Unless of course we can get those users, lock them up in a coliseum and make them fight each other to death like in ancient Rome; but I'm afraid that's not possible nowadays Regards! ^^ |

I would guess that wouldn't even look good. Most people that "have to" use bugs or cheat can't do anything proper in RL, so it would be very boring looking at those kids in a colloseum throwing wool pads at each other
