Crash on Start-up...help
Hey all,
I'm trying to run this from my laptop and I have a Dell D610 with an ATI Mobility x300 card. It starts, and begins to enter the splash screen then just crashes. Here's the core: libs/libcore_client.so(_ZN10ClientBase14save_backtraceE v+0x7e) [0xb7d602fe] libs/libcore_client.so(_ZN10ClientBase12client_crashEi+ 0x17) [0xb7d606a7] [0xffffe420] Any assistance or specific how-to's would be greatly appreciated. |

if you have ATI videocard like me , you will have to run it in "safe mode".
or as Surak said : "One thing you can try to help is to add the line "dbg_disable_shaders = 1" to the file game.cfg located in live/ folder, to see if the problem is in the shader support." http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/forum...?t=8775&page=3 |

Start the update and do something else would be my "workaround" (yeah, i know a very dirty one ). Create your char after the update.

I have an ATI card and also had an issue with it crashing after a minute or two of logging in. Switching to safe mode fixed it and it works fine now.
