Please re-enable level restrictions for BattleZones on Haven
What the title says ^.
These were removed just after we managed to get TDM's running anyway, now that people know it's worthwhile to queue up we have plenty that does so, especially now that we can see how many are in the queue. Currently having no level restriction wrecks the fun of the instances for alot of players, as mentioned in other threads there have been level 10's in TDM . In Alsius we have some people camping TDM all day long on level 30's warjurers, ruining the experience for pretty much everyone in the realm. Besides, there is this massive wave of new players coming in right now, eager to try out everything. These should be barred from accidentaly entering a high level BattleZone match, and instead be put in another queue for lower levels, as was promised would be implemented when NGD first started to talk about these instances. Having this could mean a boost for player retention, as new "steamers" could try out the PvP part somewhat earlier, in instances restricted to lower levels.

That might work. Maybe setting a minimum level of 20 (15?) for the battlezones below 40?

And as Pnarpa suggests, if possible disable them completely for players below a certain level, I would say lvl 21 minimum. Lower levels than that will almost certainly only get a negative experience from it anyway, if they are up against level 40 players. (Although then the 21-44 range might never get enough for a full match? I think you developers have the better perspective to make a judgement on this. Would it be possible for the lower instances to only require 4vs4vs4 players?)

being a realist, I doubt there will be any instances for the low lvlers then because of the lack of players.. (?)

Should be something like
group I: 15-30 group II: 31-45 group III: 46-60 below 15 I think it is useless to participate in this battles. 0-40 and 40-60 is still too much difference, a lvl 40 player can't do anything against a 60 wm and the same with level 10 against lvl 39 |

A more sensible approach would be to align it with the scrolls of mastery.
so level 30 -44 45-55 and then 55-60 If a player wants into tdm they would either buy a scroll or go through the level up process and as such learn the spells and so on. If it were me, I would have low level bosses to keep players interested (below 45). And actually give it gear to drop that would keep players interested. Level cap the gear so that higher level poachers could never acquire it. I would use the islands instead of an instance. This way, it would spawn on the island and players from any realm (of specified level) could port there and try to poach it. that should be fun. PvE meets RvR. |

Maybe a lvl 1 to 9 class could be a good introduction to the whole RvR aspect with a quest introducing them to it and telling them what they can expect if they go in. At least then they can get a taste for what RO is about, play around with builds and feel uber powerful at lvl 9.

Hey guys, we had 3 divisions before and it was almost impossible to find enough players
let's try with 10-40 41-60 ok? if Haven continues to grow we'll set 3 separations as in RA... |
