Pleasantly Surprised
I have, for quite some time now, been disgusted with MMO's. I have tried just about everything that I have came across. Each one just making me more angry with every waste of time/storage space that it has made. But when I played this game, oh man! I am a little iffy about the pay to win system for leveling. But everything else seems pretty solid. I started yesterday and time flew away because it was such a delight. I ended up only getting about 4 hours of sleep before work, which is saying a lot for an old guy like me (27). I was skeptical at first and went into it not thinking that I would actually like it. I am only level 9 at the moment, but it has been a blast of 9 levels. Now I am not saying that the game is perfect. Every game has its flaws. For instance I think that you should be able to combine some of the chat tabs and the user interface could use a bit of a facelift. The questing system is lacking a bit with navigation. But what game doesn't have a few quirks. All in all what I am saying is, Thank you for creating a game that I can enjoy and gets me back into the mmo scene. I have had my mind blown on how a simple game can still be fun if done correctly. Maybe gaming companies should take notes. From the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul. Thank you again.

Hi, welcome to the game
Of course, that Regnum is far from perfect - there are several bugs reported for years, but the game is still fun, and offers great aspects. You mention a "pay to win system for levelling". I"m not quite sure, what you mean by that. While levelling up, you can buy xp scrolls, or scrolls that level you up. Personally, I never brought such items, and just grinded up the "hard" way. It takes longer, but it's free and possible. Therefore, buying such items that help you level only save you time. The only real item you should purchase is a permanent mount - it really helps you to get around faster, which is useful while questing, and also important in the warzone. If you have access to a temporary mount, use it first to see, how the game will be for you, before investing money into it. I wouldn't recommend you to buy any gear with real money, before you reach the warzone, since at low levels you change your equipment fairly often. Anyway, It's great that you're having a good time, and if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask in realm chat, or on the forums. Regards

Welcome to Regnum and welcome to Ignis! Glad to see a positive remark about the game. While the grinding and questing may be tedious, it is worth it since the endgame is a lot of fun! Look forward to seeing you in the war zone soon!
I gather there is enough people inner realm to answer questions and such, but if you do get stuck or need help killing a mob for a quest, do not hesitate to PM me! My characters in Ignis so far are "Partisan" and "Mimic". |
