Bring GMs back w/ Poll

Minor annoyances like someone multirealming to spam chat after or during an invasion to interrupt gameplay of an entire realm, Water Pendi going for a swim, or someone trying to con people out of account info in private messages, are now a huge problem because there are no GMs on. Such small bugs as Quest mobs going missing are huge when there is no GM to deal with it and a single chat spammer making new toons after most of the realm has ignored the first one can and has shut down an entire realm for over an hour. We need the GMs, it is one reason I like this game over others with stuff like crafting, guild banks, player housing, group instances, etc. The GM staff makes this game worth staying with, without them, not so much.

Bring back the GMs now!

Yes, we need them asap. We have 3 npc's missing as well in alsius, including the one from Hopstad who was last seen wandering into the warzone after glitching over the wall. The Water pendant Holder is out of reach currently, even with a fully ranged Long Bow.

It will be interesting to see how this Gamesamba/NGD 'relationship' progresses.

The rumour mill grinds incessantly and to be honest, their drama is a whole lot more interesting that the game itself at this moment.

As for those who have been breastfed on the milk of Gamesamba I do feel for you. Being an old player and fed a steady dose of arsenic and mercury I suppose I would be a bit more resistant if the whole relationship crashed and burned. (which is where it seems to be inching to).

This will probably get deleted.

I felt compelled to write it though.

It would be great to see the re-implementation of "community manager" staff in game.
However, there should be different "levels" of them, ranging from simple chat moderators (community volunteers should suffice here), through game-rule coordinators (who see to fair game-play and fix in-game issues, such as resetting forts, npc's, enable/disable relic taking during down times,etc), up to balance/gameplay problem team, who should work on long-term ballance and get to understand the gameplay entirely (as imho, NGD staff don't really have much Haven-side game experience. Understanding the game would lead to better problem solving, as apparent issues might be seen more clearly.)

I know, that NGD doesn't have the manpower available to focus their attention on Regnum, furthermore on different servers, that they are running. Gamesamba has helped with this, but neither do they have the resources to keep the server under hard surveillance. I do not blame them, since there are solid reasons for this, but still- with the market expansion (Steam players), the server needs more attention in terms of moderation and imminent game-play problem solving.

Tl;Dr: Yes, with some changes.

If I were the community, I would observe what is happening in the background rather than thinking about the GM situation. From the root springs all things.

What would happen if GameSamba was to pull out of the partnership? Provocative question hmm? I urge you to think of that one carefully.

this game need GM's - cause:

when they are online - gameplay runs smoothly
when they are online - there is no anarchy in chat
when they are online - beginners get full accurate information
when they are online - just fun to talk to them
when they are online - .....

but I am only just about GM... i don't wanna GC...
