These are some freaky glitches in the game I executed, but im not telling how I did it.

Hmmmm... I can try and guess.

Assuming your platform is Windows, you probably crashed, the sort where windows says the program has encountered a problem and needs to shut down and you are prompted to press "send" or "don't send" but the game still runs. Instead of pressing either button, you simply moved aside the error dialog (I reckon this only works in windowed mode) and continued playing. After you moved a bit you'll see that the landscape vanished. Another thing of note, all MOBs will also disappear from view (although I don't know if they actually disappear or are just invisible like the landscape.

Well, that's my guess ('cos I've done it myself a few times to get out of harm's way before pressing one of the buttons in the error dialog). So tell me if I'm right or wrong

This has happened to me several times, and I use Linux. (not quite sure what causes it, and it's really annoying.)

sometimes resources cant be loaded for whatever reason.

esp annoying when bridges are not loaded.

a simple relog helps there

Yep I love when I have to relog in front of fort we've just taken because I can't see the door to click on; or when we're in Syrtis territory and we just fall from the ground and only see the sun
