Ximerin Gifting
I have a clanmate with a steam account who I would like to gift ximerin to so they can purchase a mount. Is there a way to do this?
I am not a steam user myself, though I did create an account on their website a while back.

Sure, go to http://www.championsofregnum.com/index.php?l=1&sec=25 (The Ximerin page). Log in to your account and click Buy Ximerin as normal. It should ask you in the dialog if you want to buy it for yourself or as a gift for someone else, choose that option. Make sure to select the correct server from the drop down (ie: Haven or Ra). It will confirm what class and race they are. You'll need to leave a message with a certain amount of characters. Pay and you're done.

This is precisely what I tried to do, only it comes up with an error about the user having a different currency.

Oh, right. You can't gift Ximerin to someone of a different currency, sorry. Being from the UK, I couldn't transfer xim to anyone not using GBP as a currency.
It sucks, but that's the way it is unfortunately.

now that account security has been improved, wouldn't an in-game xim transfer be possible? Just an idea...

This would be a great idea, even if they only allowed it for essentials like mounts. It would free up the GMs time from being harassed to have these kind of gifts transferred to friends every day.

Even if security has been improved, and even if some users would want to use this responsibly, there's always those who will see this as a tool and also an encouragement to get their hands in premium accounts. Xim transfers are truthfully needed in very few and particular cases. We handle this at support, to avoid problems.

When this will be fixed? I guess you lost much more Xim purchases than actually prevent malversations with currency rate differences.

Can we give/receive Xim from a NGD account to a GS account (or viceversa)?
