NGD We want old arena back !!

Its been a long time since TDM upadte came which also brought new arena's in all the 3 realms. But in all honesty i think not even 1% of people woulda love that new arena because of following reasons :-

1- It takes a bit longer to get in
2- Its laggy in there
3- Other players cant see you match
4- After fight is finished most time you end up to your altar of ressurection

In simple words i want to say new arena doesnt make it worth pvping inside it. Old arena was like OMG ! Jesus !!

1- Not much laggs
2- Easy to get inside & out
3- Others could watch you match too
4- You could do 2 vs 1 or even 2 vs 2

If i m missing something i would be happy if community adds it.

I just want NGD to bring old arena back. If you agree too , please post your suggestions.

having a 1v1 fight was also possible in the old arena setup, Im fine with it if you keep it
but I want the old arena where you could enter with every1 and people could watch back

free for all!

I think the arenas were overcrowded in Ra and thats why they instanced it...

Hard to PvP when there are 5 other PvP's going on + some trolls who interfere.

Anyway, I'd like to be able to spectate too ^^

Restore old arenas to original postions and exchange the current ones into one big cross-realm arena on CI that gives champion coins.

Totally agree with this, would be pretty cool even if they just added the option to watch matches and do 2v2 3v3 etc, keeping it kinda instancy.. idk

I miss being able to go in and mess around, testing things

Yep the arena got instanced cos it was a mess to do a pvp on Ra, they used to get interrupted 5 times before u can finish it, plus the troll groups that killed everyone inside.. the whole community (from Ra) asked for this arena, and ngd gave it to them. Anyway, when CoR update first came into amun, there was a 2v2 match option, perhaps it gets added on the final release of CoR..

Agree, we need old arena back. Arena is not only for pure PVP, fighting with opponent to see who's better, but also for instructions and training.

I suggest to add one more button on arena enter dialog which will join player to uninstanced arena, without any class/level or player number restrictions.

+1 u can teach new players fight even if u lvl 60 and help low lvls. in other word. old arena was much better .

I think people are mistaking an arena with a practice/training area. An arena is usually an area where players fight it out to the death, which is what NGD has created with these new arenas. This type of PvP is extremely popular in various mmorpg's but doesn't really seem to fit into an RvR game. However its still nice to have the option available.

About the old arena's. Why not just convert those practice area's found in the initiation zone adjacent to the first village you visit into a practice area using the same code as the old arenas. In that way you could the option of both.

NGD would probably need to increase the size of those practice areas to make it fair on ranged classes.
