Yes, but this is a game, its meant to be escapism from real life, its meant to be fun.

Its not meant to be a second job that eventually pays off with the 'fun' that you signed up for in the first place.

The simple truth is most players are not willing to spend hundreds of hours grinding before they can even participate enough to see if the game is 'fun' for them. And most of those who make it to that point will agree its not that great anyway.

Grinding is fine, but not too much, and not without some rewards and actual fun things to do along the way. Regnum doesn't have any.

Nothing stops them from going to the war zone at any level they want. If you're under level 60 then of course you're not gonna be able to compete well. Durr. There's however huge balance problems between classes that need to be solved.

Most people who come to play don't quit because of the grinding, it's more because of obvious annoying little bugs that keep on stacking every month. Yes, they notice fast. The negative influence of the veterans is also a factor. People who read this forum think the game is all about grinding with broken features being constantly added, even though all you need for level 50 is just 1/3 of the XP needed to reach level 60. Level 50 is a perfect level to have fun in the war zone. Too bad NGD doesn't promote this very well. Also, new players have difficulty in finding out how to become a Warmaster.
None of my friends play this game anymore and I am looking for an alternative f2p RvR MMORPG right now.

I can agree with you in some point, but i think the solution of this problem, that NGD should make enjoyable while you reach ~lvl50 with more fun, and not that they nerf high lvl ppl so lower lvl ppl can easily kill them. Can you agree in this?

For example a place in wz where only ppl lvl40-50 can make something for their realm.

A sort of low level warzone has been suggested many times over in many forms, I recall NGD said they were doing something to get lower levels involved in war at one point, seems to have never materialised into anything though :/

Just a thought...

Warmasters are not a tool. Warmasters should initiate fights. Become leaders, tank in wars and become an aid to a team.

After this update the role of a warmaster is to stay behind the lines and buff his allies, watch them die and run. The allies get speed, unstoppable madness, and free teleport while he stays behind.

Is this what NGD wants? Wussymasters?

Many factors if you talk about new incomers.
1.)
The main issue of new incomers it's a bit stupid...but general chat in WZ has a hight impact at them too.
I am not for general chat in WZ or other think but a new players spend hours and general chat is empty for 80% you will feel like nobody in this game.
NOTE*:a hight/old player will see from different perspective chat in WZ and he will talk about war.But it's not like that for a new player.
For a new player means "activity in game".

2.)About mini WZ for lower lvl-s .i think this idea it's useless somehow....All ppl want to be involved in the main action of WZ.

And about all this complaint- hard work to be a WM and now ppl want to nerf them...:

-what kind of hard work it's that when allrady 75% of population it's a WM...and all have same 6 common spells ?!!?
-the main issue was from begin when NGD gave same 6 spells to all WM ...i never understood that.
-the other issue a person become too easy WM
I don't call this "nerf" by giving 1 spell WM specific to each class.I will call this FIXING a stupid move.

It's not hard to be a WM but that long way to grind it's damn boring. And if you gave up at grind difference between lvl-s are to hight.
-So you have 2 options grind or grind...that all....

This was my initial idea of what a warmaster would be, however if anything its too easy to become one, and so every other player with some free time is now a warmaster, thus we don't have warmasters leading. We have warmasters as 'normal players' and everyone else trailing behind.

In the english subforum is written "devasteted realms cannot be invaded"

What is the truth?

Zombrex sais it too...

With the information of the second point we can probably invade a devasted realm...
