If an archer does not want to die (specifically a hunter) they'll run and you can't catch them.

However, hunters evasion abilities have been nerf'd pretty badly....so use what you can to slow and disable them...and you'll own em.

Outside of that...they'll run - I know I will

there's also a buff called block proyectiles in the shield tree :) use it

I don't think it's worth posting anything else, it's clear that there are lots of suggestions when you are standing next to an archer within weapon range, but only one to get close enough to do any of them. Hide behind a tree or a rock.

It's called deflect projectiles, 60 sec. duration=cooldown. 10% piercing resist at level 1 up to 30% at level 5. This all is very nice, but the casting time is 2 sec. Any casting time is too much when chasing a hunter.

This is true, but i dont think a guy in heavy full set armor should be able to run as fast as an archer in leather outfit. True its frustrating when good archers are at you tail but hey you chose to be a meatwall and the archer choose to be lightweigt and fast.

You cannot out run the archer, you have to out think him. When you out think him then you beat him every time.

disable limb and balestra are your friends in fights against archers.use balestra to counter escapist,disable the archer next and then hes most probably dead in 30sec...

All great suggestions when you are close enough to use them.

Hiding behind obstacles isn't silly - in real life, people take cover from guns behind rocks and such.
