So ... Its a thread declaring you still get a pointless number when the idiot who drowns gets necro (something everyone with a brain should already know)

I have seen people from all realms dunk themselfs with people shooting them in the back, Syrtis isnt the only realm with its share of cowards.

You call them cowards, ok, but how to name hunters:
attacking wounded unprepared lower level grinders from camo with an OP pet is not exactly glorious, and all hunters do it.

This is a game, everybody can act as they want to (even if ...).

Incidentally, I once drowned in the inner realm whilst exploring the outer edges of the map, fell down a steep cliff into the sea. I did not get necro, and hadnt fought a mob or anyone else since I logged in that day.

Maybe you got aggro from a mob and didnt even know cuss he was like to low level for you....?

Not all hunters do it because not all hunters have pets, let alone OP ones... and not all hunters kill grinders low on hp, I've know a few...

Hmm, I just strolled off the side of a cliff and didn't get necro - no one had hit me recently, I guess it depends how recent 'recently' is.

If it is mostly Syrtians doing it (and I don't have any numbers - oddly enough, no one seems to be scared enough of my to run drown themselves :cuac:), I suspect it's just that there are more Syrtians - if 2% of each realm does it, more Syrts are doing it, nothing to do with any moral failing on their part.

Yes this happens in all realms. In my own realm, I can think of two people off the top of my head who are extremely cowardly... my advice to everyone is to DEAL WITH IT!

Some people just can't take the hit on their ego if they die. Sad to say, but a lot of people think of this as more than just a game and will have their day completely ruined if they get killed by someone in another realm. Drowning isn't the only coward move I see regularly. I also see people logging off inside of forts so they don't get killed after a capture.

On the teebag topic... people take this game too seriusly. Just because I killed you (or more appropriately you killed me :D) is not a reason to hold a grudge. If a hunter killes you while afk at the save and then dances on your corpse... that is a reason to hold a grudge. Grow up people!

Getting Necro after running drowning is random. Ive logged before and ran straight into the water and gotten the choice to choose wall or save with 0 necro.

Also alsius dont drown themselves. They hide behind trees like (except for a couple of players I have met. Gideon Slack, Angelz, some others). Syrtis drown themselves the most and from what Ive seen ignis tries to run away the most.

Example of alsius hiding. I went behind aggers today and saw indur camo. I scorched where he camoed he came out of camo and we skirmished for a bit or w.e and I was about to kill him than he ran behind a tree. Than he came out (I was out of mana after sotw and a couple of norms) ambushed me and killed me. Perfect example of alsius tactics 1v1.

Each realm has chicken shit players but from my experience (and Ive played all realms) Syrtis has the most followed very closely by alsius and ignis in last.
