Edit game.cfg: Code:
vg_object_body_distance_lod_1 = 20.000000 Do not use safe mode. Use fixed pipeline; safe mode disables speed optimizations for debugging. |
I'm playing on lowest settings too. Since the merge, I experience temporary freezes of character movement, lasting usualy up to few seconds. Then all the characters warp to different place. As a result of this, I can't play any warrior class, and often I get killed just as I run somewhere without seeing any barbs on me...
I blame this on the high player base active all the time. I guess the servers are designed to run with fewer players. If the server maintains its activity, there is a substantial need for hardware upgrade Also note, that those laggs/freezes aren't visible on fps, neither on ping. Therefore I concluded that they are server-side. Please correct me, if I'm wrong... |

I was reduced to 1 - 2 fps yesterday, so i turned down pretty every single graphic so i could at least move again...but it still lags like crazy...and no i refuse to drop down to fixed pipleine, i have a PC capable of running your game on shader 4, and i have spent money on paint in game, and i want to see the paint.... And as quoted above....we really hope the support we have all given you in the form of Xim purchasing has been worth it on our part.... |
There are temporary, and sometimes permanent, freezes the very second my character enters the game world. Don't know if anybody else has this. But it doesn't always happen.

IMVHO, lags are effect of aura animations that are buggy, don't expire, causing increased resources consumption. But hey, it was reported many times before. NGD did NOTHING about it.
|
After merge my ping remains the same but I lag constantly. Furthermore, some commands have delays ( I don't know why) like when adding a friend it takes 5 mins to do it. Another problem is that when I log in it takes about 2-3 mins to go online ( double time than before merge).
But anyway, we should not only screw NGD. I believe that they did great work and with time those issues will be solved Well done NGD:wink: |
