Hey jrlg23 and other ROL players:

The aggressiveness of all the mobs you refer to will decrease during the next update of the game.

Those mobs will only react when players get too close to them and will not chase players for so long.

Sorry about the inconveniences and thanks for your comments.

thats what i really like about ngd if theres a problem they tell us their gonna fix it and they do, if theres a bug they'll go out of their way to get that one person to be able to play. i tried to play meplestory the other day and it didn't work so i posted on the forum 3 weeks later no response

Thank you very much. It's always nice to know you guys do actually read the forums. When questions go unanswered for extended periods, people start to think no one cares or the issue is not important. My guess is there will be much less aggro discussion in the forums from now on. Good work. We all know and appreciate how hard you guys are working on this.

Turn of the whole aggro system until NGD can build a REAL one that WORKS.

Yesterday I played Regnum after a long breake.
When I lvled with my friends some mobs attacked me. I am only a support conjurer and I wondered a lot when they attacked me. I dont want to attack them I only want to give health and mana :).

So will this change too?
I am not up to date. If there is already a thread please forgive me.

//edit: I hope that my post isnt wrong here. The mobs attack me, I am just wondering.

I think you posted right Luthien, in my opinion the only bad thing on the new aggro system is the way mobs are attacking archers and mages even if a warrior is on their way.
Apart that, I love the new aggro system. You have to care much more while lvling, and it's almost suicide to go lvling without a party. It changes the solo lvling way I saw a lot, everybody is now looking for help for hunting, for war and for farming. I see it as a lesson: stay together or die, whatever you do. I love that new way of playing :)

My 2 cents opinion, bye!

I think the mob AI makes sense. When a hunter or conjurer attacks you, you don't attack the pet, you go after its owner. I guess they are just acting the way players would to an extent.

I'm a noob in the WZ, so I accidentaly run by a cyclops, it chases me for a mile and I meet a conj from another realm. He kills me cause I can't fight both at once.
