Graduations are a social event and the recognition of a player as belonging to one realm. I'm not surprised you find them stupid :).

(grads are also a good excuse to gather a huge war party)

My partner is 30 in a few days, and my daughter is 13, so we were considering a vacation for their birthdays.

Both of them have always wanted to go to Florida.

My partner saw a really good deal on the net, flying out in 4 days time - 6 seats left. So we thought 'what the hell!' and booked.

It just so happens that comp will be in the same state at the same time.

It's wierd, i know, and makes you realise what a small world it is...

Not sure how welcome we'd be (myself in particular, as i have a habit of speaking my mind, more perhaps than is good for me.)...

I think you would be welcome, but then again I didn't see you going berserk against anyone :). My take is: play wherever you want, whenever you want. And have fun.

I think you will find Aeron's problem is time zone more than anything else.
he is a good hunter and shouldn't have any problems finding people to hunt with
as long as he is on when most of Alsius plays.

Aeron is quite happy with the holidays here. More people online in his timezone.
