ok thanx for all the post and ya it would b neat to see someone wielding 2 rapiers, think bout it one down diagnaly down the back and the other down the oppisite side of the back diagnaly, would look kinda cool to me. Same goes for spears and all wepons it works for all of them. Seems like u guys hijacked my thread... im using rapier when i can but theres a gap in the mis lvl;s where spears are only buyable so i guess im stuck with them until i get to the 40's and use rapier again thanx all and if u want keep using my post to rant on double wielding and such ^^

A rapier would be virtually useless vs a knight or other heavily armored target in any kind of real world battle.

A Rapier was a duelist's and gentleman's weapon for use in unarmored encounters, it was NOT a sword of war.
The longsword was the one handed sword of war.

Well for leveling a spear is always better...you can kill mobs without beeing hit...
But a rapier can be very effective againts mages with lvl15 pierce...add points into damage bonus and use brain pierce and feint...no mage can kill you...

Sounds realistic to me. A rapier would cut a guy in a robe up just fine. ;)

I like rapiers... they look "noble" and are useful when you need to do damage over a long (> 20s) time (in better words it owns to break doors and killing conjus ^^).

But as a Knight i play with a spear, just for the range, even if i don't use it very often (i'm blunt oriented). And it's easier when your enemy run with a spear.
