It's just that this class' gameplay (and more generally mages) has been slowed and slowed down over the updates since years that now it's starting to get unbearable for people who were loyal to this class.
Before not only a Conju was doing his job more efficiently but way faster without requiring max CS... Now this class is slow unless you use max CS, targets very often get out of range while casting, heal amounts are ridiculous regarding new lvl cap and most classes DPS, and so on... It would have been justified if all classes got slowed down, but nope, non-mage classes got a much faster gameplay in the meanwhile...

That's not exactly accurate, all classes got slowed down with the cast speed "fix", cast speed on non-mage gear is next to useless, they also have certain vital buffs they need to cast. Mages continue to be fast, just not as fast, they were able to cast certain spells instantly, resurrecting people would take less than 3 seconds, etc. How fair was that? I would rather like to see the ability to cast spells while moving to bring back some fluidity, though.

So it's totally understandable that some old Conjurer players (including myself) moan about it. Personally I left this class (and Warlock aswell) unless a big revamp is done for Mages. It's really sad because I love these classes but 3 years without a single positive gameplay update for Mages, enough is enough...

Understandable, it is. Justifiable? Not really, every class has got their ups and downs, I play mostly a non-mage character and maybe that's why I think mages aren't really that underpowered when it comes to how fast they cast their spells. Warriors have to be careful not to waste attack cycles due to phantom hits, archers must stand still to shoot as much as possible, etc etc. You're not the only ones with downsides in their gameplay, don't come up with that.
