I can manage completely fine with the current evasion system, even if it sometimes piss me of. But you know, the coin always has two sides. Yesterday I evaded a normal hit and a Forcefull Blow in a row from PLUTO, and hence I took no damage at all before I killed him... (: |

Anyway I see a lot of brilliant suggestions in this thread on how some of the defenses could be altered in other ways. I don't think evasion should be removed, more like making it before the patch of doom, so that you rarely evade, and WHEN it happens you'll need a plan b if the unexpected should happen, just not at this rate I like katies suggestion a lot with the opposite effect of insight for conjurers. |
Evasion should be removed because there's no realistic way of applying it. Archers and mages are supposed to be good with ranged attacks, so it's unlikely that someone could evade them by simply moving forward or backward. Also, warriors attack close enough to miss, so their attacks shouldn't be evaded either. The worst case scenario is seeing an archer miss attacks from a close range, even on monsters their same (or lower) level. Something should really be done to this system. It's one of the reasons why I stopped playing.

Hi Community,

I know that NGD have fairly recently said that they are now looking into balance, fixes etc. etc. But it would be nice of them to just confirm for us whether they are working on class balance or the evasion re-work, or both even.
Seem we're left in the dark more and more. :( |
