Invasion and also wm coins are a nice objective to the game, i really dont wanna play pre invasions.

Devastating status would not be so bad with old saves, and it could be restricted to "cannot invade" status.

A pre-invasion isn't possible because it isn't. Its not possible to rollback the game to those versions anymore, even Surak stated this in the forum somewhere.
